This angular vase is wheel-thrown from a medium coarse clay body. Adorned with a sgraffito design of the sun & the moon nestled into clouds that seamlessly wrap around the vase.
The technique known as sgraffito is acheived by painting the surface in black underglaze then meticulously scratched away to reveal the contrasting clay body below.
